How many different ways can you contact customers today?
We are very fortunate to have many ways to contact our customers.
So why do we not stay in contact with our best source of new customers?
They have the confidence in you to buy the first time and if you would only keep that relationship going they will recommend you to others.
It is the one thing that will increase your success. Start a system that wil benefit you and your customers.
FOLLOW UP SALES WITH TECHNOLOGY
With all the technology, follow up sales can be fun and easy with much success. You have e-mail and text messaging and all the technology to quickly and easily contact customers. I used post card mail when I first started follow up sales and it was very successful. My customers would send prospects in to see the “Quote Card Man”.
I would always send them my quote of the month on a postcard to keep my name in their thoughts and you know it really worked. It might be a joke or just a quote I found in a book, just anything to keep in touch with them.
I still have customers that have not forgotten that, although I have not done that follow up in many years. It set me apart from all the other salespeople and gave me an advantage. That is what you want to accomplish with follow up sales.
I hope you can see the advantage to set yourself apart from the average business or sales person. You have probably done a positive system at some point in your profession, but have you developed it to a level to sustain success.
All your competition is either trying to develop into a success story or they are just satisfied or do not have the knowledge to accomplish their goals. You are trying to create more by reading and educating yourself with knowledge to become better.
Can you think of anything that you want to do and set yourself apart from the average? Write it down and start a plan of what you want to accomplish. Can you gather e-mails from customers and just stay in contact or would calling them on the phone be the best for you.
The next step is yours and you have to make it, the decision is yours. Keep doing the same thing or make the decision to become better and do more for your family and yourself. How many ways can you contact a customer and what method is best for you.
In today’s world most people have computers at home or at work or both. Why not use this to your advantage? I would use the e-mail system to keep my product, company or name in the thoughts of my customers on a weekly or at least a monthly basis.
If you have a good joke or something of interest, just e-mail them and they will have a laugh or learn something of knowledge from you. This will set you apart from the average and your follow up sale system with technology will start to work for you. You could have a regular day to e-mail or you can have both a weekly or monthly e-mail and just when you have time to send a joke or a knowledge e-mail.
Why not use what we have to increase our sales and have more success. There are many ways to increase sales, but we have tools to use and we do not even make the effort. We can work smarter and not harder if we just have a plan and work it on a daily basis. Be one of the few to follow up your sale with technology.
